Sorry, Uber. The magic is gone.
The ride-sharing app’s Chief Brand Officer, Bozoma Saint John, is moving on after a year on the job.
The 41-year-old marketing guru was brought on during a time of internal turmoil and public scandal to help repair the company’s image.
Saint John is pivoting to Endeavor to be their new CMO. This is a level-up in every sense as the entertainment firm is the parent company of WME, home to your favorite Hollywood movers and shakers.
Think Oprah… Yup. No other names need be dropped after Auntie O.
Uber’s current CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi heaped high praise for Saint John in a statement about her departure.
“Boz joined Uber at a time when the company was hurting—but her energy, optimism, and creativity have been a key part of our ongoing turnaround,” she said according to Tech Crunch. “Endeavor is lucky to have her, and I’m excited to watch her work in her new role.”
Kudos to BadAssBoz on yet another power move.
