If there’s anything we millennials love it’s combing the aisles of IKEA. Amirite? Well, now there’s even more reason to shop for $3 plates while feasting on Swedish meatballs on a Saturday afternoon. Our girl Solange just announced a creative collaboration with the everything home store through her brand collective, Saint Heron.

We don’t know much, but a message on her website points to the partnership festooning with objects, space, and architecture. It’s still all very much a secret at this point.

Oh, and there was also a tweet teasing a project that will be “exploring architectural and design objects with multifunctional use.”
Marcus Engman, head of design at IKEA Range & Supply also put out a confirmatory statement.
“Contemporary art is a huge part of people’s life today,” he said, according to Lonny. “At IKEA we are curious about the creative space in between architecture, design, art, and music and how that could come alive in the homes of the many people. This is what we want to explore together with Saint Heron.”
Oooh, *squeals* This can only mean great things for my apartment decor.
We can picture the geometric lampshades and dramatic curtains now.
Are you excited for this collaboration?
