Thank God for Solange. Sis clearly saw all the turmoil happening in regards to the Black History Month foolery and decided to bless us with some new music. The news came in a trickle — in true Knowles fashion.
First,

Secondly, sis brought us back to our college years by taking over BlackPlanet. The site exclusively for us was where we all had a profile to catfish students from other colleges or enter relationships with people we’d never meet. The good old days before Myspace and Facebook. She dropped previews of the visuals (wait, is this a visual album?), tour dates, and more photos. I live!
Lastly, she took to her Instagram — which has been idle, bare, and post-less for months — to confirm that new music would be indeed dropping soon. Tidal’s Elliott Wilson confirmed the album title, “When I Get Home,” and that we should be hearing new Solange through our speakers by midnight! I’m hyped! Cancel all your plans, pull out the wine and the candles, and just zone out, sis.
Solange. When I Get Home. Midnight. All platforms. https://t.co/AZ8RWM5avS

You probably already know that we are HUGE Solange fans around these parts, so this is celebrated news. Welcome back, Solange!
